Opposition Leaders Unite for Electoral Reforms

Leaders from Uganda's major opposition parties have formed a coalition to push for comprehensive electoral reforms ahead of the 2028 general elections. The group demands an independent electoral commission, transparent voter registration, and the use of biometric technology to ensure fair polls. Talks with the government are expected to begin next month.
